School has been in session nearly four weeks now, and I am pretty exhausted. I am usually there from 6 to 4, then I come home, usually with more school work in tow, and make dinner (sometimes), clean up (on some days), do laundry, or just sit on the couch and ignore everything until I go to bed sometime between 8:30 and 10. (I'm usually quite proud of myself if I make it into double digits in the evening.)
So for everyone bugging me about not posting, fuck off.
And for everyone else (especially parents and in-laws), kindly pardon my absence from cyberspace.
Posting just feels like too much work after everything else.
P.S. Deidre: Happy Birthday. Your phone must be broken, too.

Well, I don't have to fuck off because I didn't pester you. Though, I did miss the posting. I considered pestering, but being a teacher myself, I knew you were busier than most people can imagine. I had a friend many years ago. High school English teacher. We were grand friends during the summer. But, between September and May, we rarely talked and never got together. She simply didn't have time. Now that I am an English teacher... I get it. This year really doesn't count. I won't comment further about that. It would be cruel.
I can understand the sentiment - though no one has pestered me, I also have been posting very rarely these days as my new job and new baby (sans grandma's help now) (9 weeks and counting) suck up vast reservoirs of time and energy. I will eventually get back to posting more often.
But what you HAVE been posting, DBB, has been well worth the read.
Thanks Tammy - you are too kind!
